Camperlengo, Joseph A. of Massapequa, LI on April 28, 2015. Beloved husband of the late Ann( Nee Barry). Loving father of Barbara Griffin (Bob), Joseph Camperlengo (Patti), John Camperlengo (Trish) and Trish Meindl (Bob). Cherished grandfather of Joseph, Nicholas & Dominick Camperlengo, Jessica & Jillian Griffin, John & Chris Camperlengo and Bobby, Andrew & Erica Meindl. Dear brother of the late Antoinette Camperlengo. Mr. Camperlengo is also survived by his nieces JoAnn, Peggy, Mary & Cece and his nephew Jimmy as well as many grandnieces and grandnephews. A nephew Mickey predeceased him.Beloved friend of Ron Mormino. The family will receive friends Thursday 2-4:30 & 7-9:30 PM at the Powell Funeral Home, Inc., 67 Broadway (Rt. 110), Amityville. Funeral Mass Friday 10:00 AM St. Martin of Tours RC Church, Amityville. Military Honors to be rendered following mass. Cremation will be private. As an alternative to flowers, the family has requested, memorial contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project, Town of Babylon, 200 East Sunrise Highway, Lindenhurst, NY 11757, Attn: Cathy Hyde.
